Job Title: Restaurant Server

Location: Domaine de Grand Pre, Nova Scotia Wine Country
Employment Type: Part-time/Seasonal
Start time: Between May and June of 2025 

About Us:

Le Caveau Restaurant offers a warm, inviting dining experience in the heart of Nova Scotia Wine Country. Our focus is on exceptional hospitality, locally inspired cuisine, and fine wines crafted from our vineyard. We are looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Restaurant Servers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide an outstanding guest experience by delivering warm, professional service.
  • Guide guests through our menu and wine offerings, making thoughtful recommendations.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve wine flights, by-the-glass selections, and food pairings, ensuring proper
  • presentation. Follow cocktail recipes when preparing a drink to guarantee consistency 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining space.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor as well as service team and kitchen 
  • Process payments and handle transactions with accuracy.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Team service, we work together to provide the best possible experience  

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, winery, or hospitality setting is an asset but not required.
  • Knowledge or interest in wine and local cuisine is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for delivering great service.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
