Job Title: Restaurant Server
Location: Domaine de Grand Pre, Nova Scotia Wine Country
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time/Seasonal
Start time: Between May and June of 2025
About Us:
Le Caveau Restaurant offers a warm, inviting dining experience in the heart of Nova Scotia Wine Country. Our focus is on exceptional hospitality, locally inspired cuisine, and fine wines crafted from our vineyard. We are looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Restaurant Servers.
Responsibilities:

Provide an outstanding guest experience by delivering warm, professional service.

Guide guests through our menu and wine offerings, making thoughtful recommendations.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve wine flights, by-the-glass selections, and food pairings, ensuring proper

presentation. Follow cocktail recipes when preparing a drink to guarantee consistency

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining space.

Collaborate with the supervisor as well as service team and kitchen

Process payments and handle transactions with accuracy.

Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a restaurant, winery, or hospitality setting is an asset but not required.

Knowledge or interest in wine and local cuisine is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

A positive attitude, team spirit, and a passion for delivering great service.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Le Caveau Restaurant is a fast-paced, high-energy, casual fine dining experience in the heart of Nova Scotia Wine Country. We take pride in offering exceptional hospitality, locally inspired cuisine, and outstanding wines. We are seeking a skilled Lead Server / Floor Supervisor who can seamlessly blend exceptional service with strong managerial oversight.
Responsibilities:
Service & Guest Experience

Provide warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to guests.

Guide guests through the menu and wine selections, making thoughtful recommendations.

Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages with precision.
-
Supervise floor operations to ensure smooth service and a great guest experience.
- Maintain a calm and composed demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
Supervisory & Managerial Tasks
-
Oversee restaurant flow and staff coordination during service.
-
Assist with training and mentoring servers to maintain high service standards.

Monitor reservations, check emails, and handle customer inquiries.

Answer phone calls professionally and assist with guest bookings.

Support back-of-house operations as needed, ensuring seamless communication between kitchen and service teams.

Troubleshoot issues on the fly and adapt to the fast-paced environment without getting flustered.
- Work closely with ownership and management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience required, with some supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and leadership skills—able to motivate and guide a team..
- Comfortable handling reservations, phone inquiries, and email correspondence.
- Ability to stay calm, think quickly, and problem-solve during busy service hours.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and wine.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
