L'Acadie Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

A terroir-driven blend of estate-grown L'Acadie Blanc and Chardonnay from our south-facing Melanson vineyard. This wine was matured in French oak barrels for 18 months and is wonderfully balanced with a rich, lingering finish. It has inviting notes of toasted coconut and apple, complemented by hints of honey and minerality, alongside lively citrus flavours.

Enjoy with soft cheeses, dishes with rich and creamy sauces, chicken, fish, salads, or simply on its own.

Note from the Winemaker

"I was always intrigued with the potential of blending our beautiful reserve L'Acadie Blanc and Chardonnay grown on our south-facing Melanson vineyard. 
Before blending we matured the wines in French oak barrels for 18 months to impart a wonderfully balanced and rich lingering finish. The result is fantastic - inviting notes of toasted coconut and apple, complemented by hints of honey and minerality, alongside lively citrus flavours.
