Tasting Notes
This variety was originally developed in Ontario but then brought to Nova Scotia in the early 1980s. It was named on our vineyard after the Acadians that settled down in Grand Pre, over 400 years ago: L'Acadie Blanc.
A very special and unique variety that is mainly grown in Atlantic Canada today, not to be found in many other wine-growing regions.
This wine displays a medium body with a complex character. Pleasant aromas of fresh-cut hay are complemented by notes of ripe pear, green apple, and bright citrus. The wine has a rich and slightly buttery flavour balanced by a fresh and lively acidity.
Pair With
Lovely with seafood, white meat or cheese dishes.
