Tasting Notes

This variety was originally developed in Ontario but then brought to Nova Scotia in the early 1980's. It was named on our vineyard after the Acadians that settled down in Grand Pre, over 400 years ago: L'Acadie Blanc.

A very special and unique variety that is mainly grown in Atlantic Canada today, not to be found in any other wine growing regions.

The wine displays a medium-body with a complex character. Pleasant aromas of fresh cut hay and herbal notes are complemented by a rich, full and slightly buttery flavour balanced by a lively grapefruit acidity.

Lovely with seafood, white meat or cheese dishes.
